1. Explain why it is important to develop power over purchase. You have to develop control in what you purchase so you can say no to something and save it. It you have no power your just going to get into to more debt that way and no one likes debt.

1. Can you think of anything in your home that was bought but never or rarely used? My mom had bought this new Christmas tree and we never used it even thought my mo said that she was gonna use it. 

1. Have you ever bought something you thought would make you happy, but in the end it didn't? yes it's very depressing. 

1. Describe one way advertising has played a role in something you've purchased. Well I play a lot of video games and there is a lot of advertising in in-game purchases. They look so appealing and it makes me want and eventually buy them. The game industry's advertising is superb. 

1.What are some of your favorite brands (soft drink, clothing, etc.)? My favorite soft drink is Dr.Pepper and my favorite brand of clothes is Nautica 2. Why do you like them? Dr.Pepper because they taste good and Nautica because their clothes feel nice and fit good.

1. Why is it important for consumers to be aware of marketing tactics? It is important for the consumer so he or she doesn't get scammed or tricked into buying something that she cannot buy. 

It is not neccesary to buy warranty because typically you will never damage it and you just have to be very careful if you buy warranty they are just getting a few extra bucks from you. You get a better deal on a car if you pay cash because you dont have to pay interest on cash with credit you have a lot of intrest to pay

I have this old console that i wanted to sell and a friend was desperate from one and at gamestop they would give me 95 buck for it but i wanted a little bit more so i threw in some games i got for free and sold it to him for 135$ mad huge profits and a great deal on my end .
